JobSeeker Alumni

When you get that job we know that you will never look at people in transition the same way again. We sincerely hope that you will continue to help your fellow seekers by doing the following things:

  1. Return to the group, if you can, and share your story of success with the rest of your friends and fellow job seekers. It is very important that you do this to share your happiness with others to uplift their spirits. As you know it is a very demoralizing experience to be seeking a job. Any help that you can provide to others to let them know that they are not forgotten is important. Additionally, you can be helpful by sharing your tips regarding what worked for you. A tip from you may be what is needed to get another seeker over that last barrier to success.
  2. Register with the Atlanta JobSeekers organization as an alumnus. This will give others a way to contact you and network with you in an attempt to get into your new company.

Networking With an Alumnus

If you have applied for a specific position in a company you may request to contact an alumnus of the JobSeekers organization for the purpose of networking with that person. It is completely up to the alumnus to contact you back and develop the networking contact. It is our sincere hope that all alumni will help others with information about the culture of their organization and other helpful information to the job seeker. Of course, proprietary information is expected to be kept confidential.

To contact an alumnus you may send an e-mail message to "execucomm@bellsouth.net". You will need to supply the following information:
