The first hour of our meetings is dedicated to recognizing that GOD is in control.

Phil has some inspirational words for you. If you feel the need to reach out and get into a more personal relationship with GOD these words might be a good way for you to take the first steps to begin that journey.

One on One help

You may discuss your spiritual needs with anyone on the leadership team. These are dedicated believers who will work with you to help you through this trying time.

Not only is it on the internet, you can get it in a variety of translations, in a multiple formats (including text and PDF). Additionally, you can sign up for a daily reading according to over a dozen different reading plans (whole bible in a year, words of Jesus 4 times in a year, and more).

First hour of our Tuesday morning meetings

This time is devoted to a variety of faith based help to you in your job search. The three main elements of this hour are:

Confidential Prayer
Requests

Everyone is invited to fill out a Confidential Prayer Request card is they would like to have the leadership team of the group pray with or for them for some specific purpose.

Individual testimony

This features an individual from the community who presents his / her testimony, discussing how Christ has come into and become a focal point in their life. These moving stories are an uplifting and important part of the spiritual support offered by the Cobb JobSeekers organization.

Marvin Beadnall is a volunteer at the Cobb Job Seekers. He has been in tranisition for 3 years and had agreed to share his testimony with all of you through our site.

Bible Breakout

This portion of the program takes one of two forms.

Small group breakout sessions are occasionally lead by the members of the leadership group and augmented by others within the group who volunteer to lead these sessions.
When available, Marlon Longacre, from the Northstar Church, leads the bible study portion of the program.
