Some inspirational
words from Phil. Getting in step to peace with God.
Would you like to have the bible come to you?
See how you can get a daily
message from the bible in a format that is meaningful
in today's context. Also, how about a complete on-line
bible in a variety of languages? Use these valuable tools
to make your life richer and bring the word of God into your
life. He may not call you on your cell phone but His word
can get to you on the Internet.
Share a Life Saver: If you have a favorite
quotation or saying that you would like to share with other
jobseekers, please feel free to submit it to us for use in
the Life Savers column. We are always interested in providing
help and a good Life Saver may be just what someone needs
in their personal time of trial. Send your favorite Life Saver
to our Webmaster to "fred@jobseekers.org"

Network with others in our meeting. This gives you an opportunity
to
- Practice your "elevator pitch"
- Interact with others who are facing the same challenge
as you
- Become comfortable discussing your job search with others
- Pass along job tips and leads to others in a true networking
fashion
Remember, when you are out and about in your job search,
you are the eyes and ears of other jobseekers. Help your fellow
job seekers by being on the lookout for jobs and other situations
that may help someone else. Some day that "someone else"
may be YOU.
