New
Meeting Formats
After
10 years, Cobb JobSeekers is making agenda changes beginning
in September, 2010. While we will continue to meet every Tuesday
at The Varsity, the format and meeting starting times are
changing.
JobSeekers meets every week from 7:30 AM 9 AM at The
Varsity at Town Center Mall.
The new alternating agenda includes:
- 1st
and 3rd Tuesday of each month is a structured 2 hour
program featuring Understanding your Purpose
and that God has a plan for you in the first
portion followed by tactical and practical job search advice
and information from industry leaders to get you into your
next job.
- Every
other Tuesday (2nd, 4th and 5th if there
is one) is a more laid back large group networking event
that is carefully facilitated to ensure the right connections
are made. Special Interest Groups are formed and small accountability
groups are encouraged, using the C3G format.
- Doors
are open at 7:00 am every Tuesday for early networking opportunities.

Some inspirational
words from Phil. Getting in step to peace with God.
Would you like to have the bible come to you?
See how you can get a daily
message from the bible in a format that is meaningful
in today's context. Also, how about a complete on-line
bible in a variety of languages? Use these valuable tools
to make your life richer and bring the word of God into your
life. He may not call you on your cell phone but His word
can get to you on the Internet.
Share a Life Saver: If you have a favorite
quotation or saying that you would like to share with other
jobseekers, please feel free to submit it to us for use in
the Life Savers column. We are always interested in providing
help and a good Life Saver may be just what someone needs
in their personal time of trial. Send your favorite Life Saver
to our Webmaster to "fred@jobseekers.org"
